Fiber Classifier Bauer McNett Type

Pulp Fiber Classifier

Description

FIBER CLASSIFIER (BAUER McNETT TYPE)
Determination of fiber length of pulp classification. According to Standard: TAPPI P 233 SCAN M6
agitated pulp suspension is fractionated by means of a screening process employing vertical screens with increasing wire sieve cloth numbers.
An The screens are mounted in tanks arranged in cascade. The mass of the fibers retained by each screen and of those passing all the screens is determined and expressed as a percentage of the oven dry mass of the sample.
For investigating the fiber length distribution in pulp. Each unit is provided with an electric motor for driving the rotor and is fully self contained. All units easily combined in cascade mode due to modular construction. Interchangeable screens available.
SPECIFICATIONS
Fiber Length is the fundamental property of Pulp The Bauer Mcnett Fiber Classifier consist of 4/5 narrow tanks of 255 mm deep, 127 mm wide 320 mm height. mounted in a cascade arrangement
